Follow-up master studies
The Faculty of Law at UWB has an accredited follow-up master's study program "Public Administration," with a specialization in "Public Administration."
The follow-up master's study program in Public Administration, specializing in Public Administration, builds on the bachelor's program of the same name, which has long been successfully established at the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The program responds to the growing demands for the quality and professional preparedness of public administration employees, particularly in connection with the adoption of the so-called Civil Service Act. It is not only about acquiring advanced knowledge and skills in administration, but above all about the ability of public administration empoyees to see the exercise of public power and related processes in a broader professional context – legal, social, economic, geographical, political, and international. The newly designed study program responds to current practical requirements, which increasingly demand diversified, field-specific qualification training for various types of administrative activities. In addition to generalist foundation in administrative sciences, the graduate is equipped with specialized knowledge focused on administrative areas that have so far been only marginally of interest. The scope of employment is broad, especially in the performance of administrative functions within public or state administration.
