INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS ON REGARDING THE ADMISSION PROCES

APPEALS AND ANY REQUESTS FOR ALTERNATIVE ENROLLMENT DATES WILL BE DEATL WITH AFTER SEPTEMBER 2, 2025

Officially certified copy of the high scool diploma (master's, subsequent master's and bachelor's studies), including an officially certified copy of the bachelor's degree of the study program "Legal specialization", "Public administration", "Law and business", Finance and law" or "Public economy and administration" or "Senior judicial officer" or "Public administration and file service" or "Law and security" (following master's degree only) is submitted in case of successful completion of the entrance exam on the day of enrollment for studies. Do not send it ahead!

The faculty will base its admissions proces on NZS tests taken between december 2024 and May 2025, including online tests.

The application for study can only be submitted electronically (http://eprihlaska.zcu.cz) from November 1, 2024. The electronic application must be completed no later than April 30, 2025, by 23:59. If the applicant intends to apply for more than one study program, a separate application must be submitted for each program. Information about high school grades or health eligibility not required. The faculty does not take into account high school grades, language certificates, or exams.

The Faculty of Law at UWB does not send invitations to the entrance exam (as it does not organize it not organize it itself) or any additional information regarding the acceptante of the application and the high school diploma. Accepted applicants shall submit an officially certified copy of their high school diploma on the day of enrollment, which will be determined by the dean's directive.

Based on the results of the entrance exam, the Faculty of Law at UWB will decide no later than July 1, 2025. The decision will be published on the faculty's website (www.fpr.zcu.cz) from the date of the decision until July 15, 2025, and will also be sent and will also be delivered alectronically via e-application (eprihlaska.zcu.cz).

The Faculty of Law at UWB will base its admissions to master's, bachelor's, and follow-up master's study programs  on the results of tests administered as part of the National Comparative Exams (NSZ) organized by www.scio.cz, s.r.o. These test include the General Study Aplitude Test (OSP) and tehe Fundamentals of Social Sciences (ZSV) for the master's degree program, the General Study Aptitude Test (OSP) for the bachelor's degree program, and the Fundaments of Social Sciences (ZSV) test for the follow-up master's degree program.

To take the National Comparative Exams (NSZ), the applicant must register at www.scio.cz/nsz (registration for the NSZ is independent of the application for admission to the Faculty of Law). The applicant can take the NSZ on multiple dates; only the best result from the period December 2024 – May 2025 will be counted.

Each applicant is required to provide Scio, s. r. o. with consent to forward their results to the faculty (this is done as part of the application for the exam in the given subject). Applicants who do not give their consent to provide their results to the faculty are considered to have failed to attend the admission procedure. Applicants do not individually send their National Comparative Exam results to the faculty.

The fee for each admission procedure is CZK 600, and can be paid by bank transfer or in cash at any branch of Komerční banka.
